Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway: a 13.5-mile narrow-gauge heritage steam railway running between Hythe and Dungeness along the edge of Romney Marsh — one of the great small pleasures of a Kent holiday.
Ride south to Dungeness for the lighthouse and the vast, strange shingle landscape, or north to Hythe for the seafront and high street. Children love it; so, quietly, do the adults.

Dymchurch has its own station, about a five-minute drive from the park. Timetables and fares are at rhdr.org.uk.
